Today we headed into Savannah to the
visitors center where we caught the “Old Town Trolley” for a narrated
tour of the city and what a beautiful city it is. This will be a return
trip some day by car to spend more time taking in all the sights.
There is a great story about the photo below. A very wealthy man had twin daughters who were always competing. To avoid a fight he had twin homes built side by side, exactly alike so there would be no arguing. Of course it didn’t totally work. The girls still fought about who got which side.
The homes in this city are gorgeous! Look at the steps going up to this one with all the greenery.
The one below was built in 1817!
The other spectacular scenery are the trees!

We had lunch down by the river at this restaurant!
Here are the men sitting on a bench while Linnea and I wandered through the shops.
Such a beautiful city! Tomorrow we head for Beaufort, SC!
