The dinghy - 20CENT$

With a big boat named 20BUCK$, it only made sense to name the dinghy 20CENT$.  This is our mode of transportation when we are anchoring out and want to explore the back waters.  20CENT$ is powered by a 15 hp motor and is outfitted with a radar arch (for looks only), navigation lights so we can use it at night, boarding lights for safety and a Garmin depth finder.

Over the 4th of July weekend, we used the dinghy all three days.  We gave Brian and Melissa the experience of running the back waters of the Mississippi.  We took the dinghy on a ~ 30 mile trip down to Lake City for lunch and the next day we ran  up the Cannon river, only navigable because of the high water on the Mississippi.

On the trip, the dinghy will be great for exploring marinas and anchorages.  Day trips to different beaches while in FL or the Bahamas will be easy with the dinghy.

Ken fashioned a block and tackle to raise and lower the dinghy onto the swim platform attached to the boat by St. Croix davits.
