Beautiful day for Baseball!

The day was perfect to watch a baseball game!  The Twins were playing the Marlins at Roger Dean Stadium.  We called a taxi and headed for the ball park with Marc and Michele!  It was a neat stadium in a beautiful part of Jupiter, FL.  The best part of the game was that the Twins won!  YEAH!

Several of my friends, Jerry, Nancy, John and Debby, from Minnetonka High School who live in the Palm Beach area were also going to be at the game.  We were to meet at the Jumby Bay Grill after the game!  Of course it was March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day so it was a little tricky to find them at the restaurant but find them we did!  Great fun getting reacquainted!

The streets were filled with St. Paddy’s Day party goers.  Everyone is Irish on St. Paddy’s Day.  It was quite the array of green filling the streets.  We were even entertained by Irish dancers!
We bid farewell to my Minnetonka friends and walked down the street to a restaurant Liz had recommended, the Leftover Cafe!  It was anything but left overs.  It was delicious!
We ended another great day with our new friends after getting to spend time with some old friends!  Sunsets are still amazing!
Today we headed up the ICW to an anchorage on the St. Lucie River called Manatee Pocket!  The St. Lucie River is the start of the Okochobee waterway that crosses from east to west in Florida!  Many Loopers that don’t visit the Keys come across this waterway.

Time to sign off!  It is almost time for Marc and I to blow the conchs at sunset!    Pat
